The Reason for the Season

To us a child is born,

to us a son is given...

He will be called

Wonderful Counselor,

Mighty God,

Everlasting Father, 

Prince of Peace.

Isaiah 9:6

As promised in the Old Testament, this promise was fulfilled in the New Testament.

This is the "reason for the season."

Give him the name Jesus,

because he will save his people from their sins.

Matthew 1:21 

Call him Immanuel - which means, "God with us."

Matthew 1:23

In the town of David a Savior has been born to you;

he is Christ the Lord.
