Today's Stroll 5/10/18

Surprised to see what the deer left me:
2 tulips and tracks through newly planted seeds.
My scent did not deter them.

Romaine seeds are sprouting.
(The white specks are eggshells.)

 Currant bushes in bloom.

Strawberries beginning to blossom.  No blooms yesterday.

First harvest.  Will add to scrambled eggs in the morning.

 Forget-me-nots:  Perennial top, annual bottom.

Trillium

 Jack-in-the-pulpit forming.

Mama dicentra white; daughter dicentra pink.

Variegated foliage always striking:  snow-on-the-mountain and hosta.

Red crab apple beginning to bloom.

Sunshines on a cloudy day.
